Rig PR-14: a 1500 HP land rig from Oklahoma to Salvador, Brazil in 68 packages
The challenge
The operator needed one partner for the whole move: measurement and verification of every rig component during disassembly at the Oklahoma refurbishment yard, a logistics plan that staged refurbishment and road transport against a strict vessel loading window, and stowage planning for a 68-package set crossing the Atlantic.
The heaviest piece weighed 90,000 lb and the longest measured 70 ft. Every stage needed special permits and crane coordination.

Results
All 68 packages delivered on time, in full, and staged for shipment aboard M/V Industrial Courage. Marine surveyors validated securing with 8 to 10 ton chains, nylon webbing and dunnage at or above industry standards.
Zero incidents during rig-down, trucking and vessel loadout despite sub-freezing temperatures, high winds and rain. The rig arrived in Salvador, Brazil after more than 20 days of ocean transit.
