Liquid bulk chemical logistics and oilfield support.

Tanker, ISO tank, drayage, truckload, ocean and air freight for chemical and industrial shippers, and the heavy haul that gets rigs and plant machinery to the site. US, Canada and Mexico, from Holmdel, New Jersey, since 1995.

Liquid bulk chemical transportation

Tanker freight for hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals is the core of the business. Each load begins with the product sheet: UN number, packing group, temperature and prior-cargo restrictions decide the trailer, the lining and the wash before a rate is quoted.

Equipment
DOT 407 and DOT 412 tankers, MC 331 pressure, stainless, lined, insulated and heated, ISO tanks, flexitanks
Hazard classes
3 flammables, 6.1 toxics, 8 corrosives, 5.2 organic peroxides. Food grade and kosher wash programs
Commodities
Solvents, acids and caustics, methanol, ethanol, resins, plasticizers, surfactants, ag chemicals, oils and fats
Compliance
Tank wash coordination, placarding and shipping papers, carrier hazmat registration and driver endorsements checked at tender

Oilfield support: chemicals to the field, heavy project cargo to the site

Drilling, completion and production chemicals move in bulk on the same tankers we run for the chemical industry. Rigs, reels, mud systems and plant components move as project cargo, with permits, escorts, route surveys, cranes and vessel load-out handled by the same team.

Oversized reel program: 25 reels a day across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, up to 100,000 lb each

Oilfield chemicals

Bulk and packaged drilling, completion and production chemicals to the yard or the pad, hazmat and non-hazmat, with the paperwork the field expects.

Heavy project cargo

Rig mobilization and demobilization, oversize and overweight machinery on RGN, double drop and extendable trailers, cranes and rigging at both ends.

International moves

Breakbulk and flat-rack ocean freight as a licensed NVOCC, export packing, marine survey, biosecurity and customs documentation through door delivery.

Every mode a chemical shipper needs

One account team quotes the tanker, the container, the ocean leg and the storage. Hazmat and non-hazmat, US, Canada and Mexico.

Infrastructure programs

Some projects need more than a covered load. When a customer's program calls for storage, committed equipment or a long-term supply position, we source it, contract it and manage it as part of the service.

Sourced warehousing

Chemical-rated, bonded or transload space located for your lanes and contracted for the life of the program. Staging, drum and IBC handling, cross-dock and outbound run by our team.

Dedicated trailer campaigns

Tankers or vans committed to your lane for a season or a contract: consistent equipment, trained drivers, one wash protocol, capacity secured before demand peaks.

Mid and long-term rentals

ISO tanks, storage trailers and tank containers on multi-month terms for strategic supply and buffer storage, placed and maintained where you need the product.

Thirty years in chemical freight, from one office in Holmdel

Total Connection was founded in 1995 by Luis Uribe and is still run by the people who quote, cover and track the freight. Named account relationships, a direct line, and operators who have stood on the dock while a tanker was loaded.

About Total Connection

Product first

SDS, UN number, packing group, prior cargo and temperature spec are reviewed before equipment is proposed.

Vetted carriers

100,000+ carriers on file. Authority, insurance and safety confirmed at tender, equipment inspected against the load.

Documents that release

Shipping papers, BOLs, wash tickets, ISF and IMDG declarations prepared so the load clears on first presentation.

Coverage through delivery

Tracking and a person on the phone from pickup to receipt. Demurrage and detention handled before they become an invoice.
