What liquid bulk chemical logistics actually involves

Most freight is straightforward. You book a truck, load the freight, deliver it. Liquid bulk doesn’t work like that — and if your broker treats it like it does, that’s your first warning sign.

The right tank for the right chemical

Stainless steel, aluminum, lined, rubber-lined, pressure, non-pressure, heated, insulated — the tank type has to match the chemical exactly. Get it wrong and you’re looking at product contamination, a dangerous reaction, or a DOT violation before the truck leaves the facility. Our team knows which tank goes with which product.

Tank wash — more complex than it sounds

Before a tanker carries your product, whatever was in that tank before has to be fully removed and certified clean. The wash process varies enormously by chemical. Some products need a simple rinse. Others need steam cleaning, caustic wash, or full third-party certification. We coordinate tank wash on every single shipment.

Hazmat compliance, start to finish

Most liquid chemicals fall under DOT hazardous materials regulations. That means specific carrier certifications, specific documentation, specific placarding, and specific procedures — all of which have to be right before the truck moves. We handle every piece of this.
