Liquid bulk chemical logistics is the movement of unpackaged liquid chemicals in tank trailers, ISO tank containers and flexitanks, from the shipper's loading rack to the receiver's storage. Each load depends on four decisions made before the truck is dispatched: the trailer type and shell material, the lining and prior-cargo history, the wash specification, and the hazmat paperwork the product requires.
Total Connection handles those decisions for chemical manufacturers, distributors and processors, then coordinates loading, transit, unloading and detention with both sites. Spot loads and contract lanes, hazardous and non-hazardous, domestic and cross-border.

DOT 407 tanker
Low-pressure liquids including flammables, toxics and most general chemicals. Stainless steel or lined aluminum shells, insulated and heated options, 5,500 to 7,000 gallons.
DOT 412 tanker
Corrosive acids and caustics in rubber-lined or stainless construction. Lower capacity because of product weight, 3,000 to 5,000 gallons, with in-transit heat where the product requires it.
MC 331 pressure trailer
Liquefied compressed gases and pressure products such as anhydrous ammonia and LPG, 9,000 to 11,500 gallons water capacity.
ISO tank container
Intermodal and international bulk liquids moved door to door without transloading. 21,000 to 26,000 liters, steam or electric heating, IMDG and DOT compliant for hazmat.
Flexitank
Non-hazardous liquids in a standard 20 ft ocean container, single use, 16,000 to 24,000 liters. Lower cost than an ISO tank for edible oils, glycols and non-regulated chemicals.
Food grade and kosher tankers
Dedicated or wash-certified stainless equipment with kosher supervision and FSMA sanitary transportation records where the receiver requires them.

Every carrier tendered for hazmat holds current DOT hazmat registration, the insurance minimums the product requires and drivers with tank and hazmat endorsements. The last three loads on the trailer are documented and shared on request.
3. Wash and paperwork
The wash is coordinated at a certified station to your specification, with the wash ticket, placards, shipping papers and any kosher or food grade certificates prepared before the driver arrives at the rack.
4. Load, track, deliver
Loading and unloading appointments are set with both sites, the load is tracked through delivery and detention is handled while the truck is on site, not after an invoice arrives.
