Oil and gas chemical logistics

Total Connection arranges oil and gas chemical logistics: drilling fluids, completion chemicals, production treatment chemicals and frac additives delivered in bulk tankers, ISO tanks and packaged totes to well sites, yards and terminals, alongside the heavy haul and rig moves our oilfield support team runs. Oilfield support has been our second specialty since 1995.

What oil and gas chemical logistics involves

Oilfield chemicals move on the operator's schedule, not the carrier's: a completion crew waiting on friction reducer or a production site short on corrosion inhibitor does not wait for Monday. The products are frequently hazardous, the delivery points are remote and the receiving equipment varies by site.

Total Connection handles the chemical side and the equipment side of oilfield support with one team, so the chemicals, the pumps and the rig components arrive on the same plan.

Products and delivery

Drilling fluids and additives

Base oils, brines, viscosifiers and weighting agents in tankers and totes to the rig.

Completion and stimulation chemicals

Friction reducers, surfactants, acids and crosslinkers delivered to frac sites on the pad schedule.

Production chemicals

Corrosion and scale inhibitors, demulsifiers, biocides and H2S scavengers to tank batteries and facilities.

Midstream and refinery products

Methanol, glycols, amines and catalysts between plants, terminals and gas processing sites.

Why operators use one team for chemicals and equipment

  • Tanker, ISO tank and hazmat truckload capacity screened for oilfield chemical classes
  • Remote site delivery with access, unloading and hours confirmed before dispatch
  • Heavy haul, rig mobilization and project cargo run by the same coordinators
  • Laydown yards, staged inventory and dedicated trailers positioned near active basins
  • Reachable after hours for well site emergencies

Oil and gas chemical logistics FAQ

Can you deliver directly to well sites?

Yes. Site access, lease roads, unloading equipment and hours are confirmed with the company man or site supervisor before the truck is dispatched.

Do you move hazardous oilfield chemicals?

Yes. Acids, methanol, oxidizers and other Class 3, 6.1 and 8 products move in tankers and totes with carriers approved for the class.

Can you also move our equipment?

Yes. Rig mobilization, frac equipment, pipe and oversized reels are handled by our project cargo team. See the Rig PR-14 and reel shipping case studies.

Do you stage chemicals near the basin?

Yes. Laydown yards, warehousing and dedicated trailers are arranged near active basins so supply is ahead of the completion schedule.
